Psychology is the wide-ranging scientific study and exploration of behavior and mental processes. Many psychology graduates pursue eventual graduate training in law, medicine, psychology or a related field. Critical thinking skills are emphasized and developed. Psychology courses are an excellent complement to any profession or course of training that involves human interaction. The following two-year curriculum identifies courses needed to meet the general education and psychology department requirements for the Associate of Science Psychology. Students should refer to the academic policies and requirements of the intended transfer institution for further advisement.
