ENGL 0505 - Reading I

This course will focus on reading as a process and building literacy skills. Specific comprehension development will emphasize vocabulary development, locating main ideas, identifying specific details, identifying relationships, summarizing, paraphrasing, and responding to readings. Students will learn to read for different purposes through the use of fiction and non-fiction sources. S/U or letter grade.
