Bookstore
The Jack McCann College Store, located on the first floor of the Student Union, is open Monday through Friday. The store is open additional evening hours at the beginning of the fall and spring semesters, to serve student needs. In addition to new and used textbooks, the store carries a large variety of school supplies, study aids, clothing and gift items, academically priced software, greeting cards, and snacks.
The store provides full refunds for textbooks in the same condition as purchased through the first week of class and through the second week of class with a completed drop slip. There is no refund for textbooks purchased for a one- or two-day class, unless the college cancelled class. A receipt is required for all returns.
The store buys back textbooks year round. Textbooks are bought back at the end of the semester for half of the new or used price, if the store needs that book. All other textbooks are bought back at a price set by a used book company.
Campus Security
Casper College maintains a full-time proprietary security department, which responds to calls for service and patrols the campus around the clock. Officers patrol the campus in marked vehicles and the residence halls on foot during certain hours. Campus security officers are not sworn law enforcement officers and do not have the power to arrest.
Campus Security has an excellent working relationship with the Casper Police Department and other area law enforcement agencies. Officers are trained in CPR and the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and attend specialized training courses. Campus Security will unlock vehicles and provide jump starts and safety escorts.

Early Childhood Learning Center
The Inga Thorson Early Childhood Learning Center (ECLC) is accredited by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs and provides early childhood education and childcare services, and parenting education programs, for members of the Casper College campus community.
The staff works in partnership with the children’s parents to nurture and encourage the children’s physical, emotional, social, and educational development. The ECLC also serves as an educational laboratory site for students.
The ECLC can accommodate 52 children, ages infant through kindergarten and is open from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Mondays through Fridays when school is in session. Fees vary according to the child’s age and are available on the CC website, A-Z, Childcare. There is a $30* per semester registration fee and a $30 prepayment which goes towards childcare costs.

Food Service
The Tobin Dining Hall, located in the Student Union serves 19 meals per week: three meals a day Monday through Friday and two meals on Saturday and Sunday. There are two coffee/snack bars and a sub shop on campus. The Doornbos Student Lounge Coffee Cart is located in Liesinger Hall, the Gateway Coffee Cart is located on the third floor of the Gateway Building, and the Sub Connection is located on the first floor of the Student Union. All locations offer homemade soups, salads, sandwiches, coffee, snacks, Starbucks coffees, and other beverages.
Students living in the residence halls must have a meal plan contract for their board. There are four meal plans: 19 meals per week, 10 meals per week, 15 meals plus $100 Flex Bucks, and 10 meals plus $100 Flex Bucks. Fall semester contract meal plans begin the first day of classes through the last day of final exams. Spring semester contracts begin the first day of classes through commencement. Food service is not available between semesters, during spring break, and on specific dates listed in the Residence Halls Terms and Conditions of Occupancy Handbook. Students who do not reside in the residence halls may purchase a commuter meal plan (50 meals per semester for $500), pay cash, or purchase T-Bucks that are added to their ID card. T-Bucks or Flex Bucks may be used at Tobin Dining Hall Cafeteria, the Sub Connection, and at the two coffee/snack bars. Flex Bucks expire at the end of the semester whereas T-Bucks are usable in future semesters.
Each year a student committee meets with the food service director to make suggestions regarding menu and special occasion dinners. Food service provides monthly special occasion or holiday meals. Sodexo, the company contracted with the college to provide food service, provides catering for all occasions on campus.
Library
The Goodstein Foundation Library provides an 88,000-volume collection of books especially selected to serve the students and faculty of Casper College. More than 120 journals, magazines, and newspapers supplement this book collection. The library provides access via its website to 400 online databases, 250,000 e-books, and 40,000 electronic journals, magazines, and newspapers. Students and faculty have access to the holdings of libraries across Wyoming and the United States through interlibrary loan services.
Twenty-seven computer stations consisting of PCs and iMacs are available for solo and group student work. Photocopiers, scanners, laptops, iPads, Chromebooks and other devices are available for student use
Soft seating and tables located in the library can be used for quiet study or group work. Study rooms are available for small groups or individuals and can be booked from the library’s website. Networked computers, photocopiers, scanners, laptops, iPads, and other devices are available for student use. The library provides an extensive program of library lectures in conjunction with various classes, and faculty librarians are available for research consultations.
Western History Center
The Casper College Western History Center acquires, preserves, arranges, describes, and provides public access to published and original documentary material of enduring historical value about Wyoming and the West, with a focus on Casper and central Wyoming. Public access is defined as (1) physical arrangement and intellectual description and (2) providing reference service. The center allows access, reference, and delivery services without compromising the preservation of the materials or the legal rights of the creators, donors, subjects, and owners of those materials.
