Casper College currently offers an Associate Degree in Nursing. After acceptance into our program, you can finish your degree in two years and be eligible to take the NCLEX-RN for licensure. The Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is a statewide curriculum that you can transfer seamlessly to the University of Wyoming to complete your bachelor’s degree online.
Our students are prepared to transfer classroom learning in simulated labs as well as live practicums in a wide variety of health care settings. The majority of our clinical facilities are located within 5 miles of the campus.
This two-year program is approved by the Wyoming State Board of Nursing and accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). Graduates of this program are eligible to take the examination for licensure as registered nurses. Graduation Requirements:
A minimum of 60 approved semester credits are required for graduation. For specific graduation requirements see “Academic Information ” and “Degree Requirements .” Only courses numbered 1000 or above can be used toward the Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate of Business, Associate of Fine Arts, Associate of Applied Science and Associate Degree in Nursing. |
