Pharmacy Technology, A.S.

Pharmacy technicians assist and support licensed pharmacists in health care agencies and retail settings. At Casper College, we stress the importance of medication safety and the pharmacy technician’s role in the patient-care process. The pharmacy technology program balances technical training and classroom instruction. You will develop the knowledge and skills to succeed on the job, meeting the needs and goals established by the pharmacy profession.

The certificate program prepares students for national certification and employment as pharmacy technicians.

The associate degree program includes general education courses in addition to the certificate program which can provide a foundation for further education.

For further information on the requirements of the Pharmacy Technology Program see the Pharmacy Technology Student Guide.
