The A.A.S. in Agri-Business is designed for students that choose to go back to the farm, ranch or small business directly after graduating with an associates degree from Casper College. The program is rich in Agriculture, Agriculture Business, and General Business with minimal general education requirements and flexibility for the student to choose their academic and practical emphasis.

General Education (Minimum 17 credits)
General education coursework can be completed from within or outside of the major field of study. 1. Exploration and Participation
(One course minimum) or 2. Communication
(One course minimum) 3. Relationship with the World
(One course minimum) 4. General Education Electives
- Must be chosen from areas 1, 2, or 3 above.
5. Physical Education (1CR)
Major Requirements (32 CR)
Approved Electives: (minimum 11 credits)
Any appropriate business or agriculture course may be taken for elective credit with departmental approval. Recommended business electives are sales (2), advertising (3), and retail merchandising (3). Work experience for credit can be arranged if desired, one to six maximum. Note:
The normal length of this program is two academic years at 15 credit hours per semester. Graduation Requirements:
A minimum of 60 approved semester credits are required for graduation. For specific graduation requirements see “Academic Information ” and “Degree Requirements .”
Only courses numbered 1000 or above can be used toward the Associate of Arts, Associate of Science, Associate of Business, Associate of Fine Arts, Associate of Applied Science and Associate Degree in Nursing.
