PEAC 2460 - Service Learning Through Physical Work (1CR)
(.5L, 1LB)(1CR) Students will identify a mutually agreed upon public service or job activity that includes physical labor. With guidance from the instructor, students will complete at least 15 hours of activity and track their fitness throughout participation. Benefits of physical activity will be discussed and students will work with the instructor to identify the specific health and fitness benefits of their activity. The planned job or service activity must be approved by the instructor prior to starting the course and may require a memorandum of understanding (MOU).
