GEOL 2020 - Introduction to Petrology (2CR)

(2L) Introduces the study of igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks in hand specimen. Covers textural and mineralogic classification of rocks and the tectonic environments in which they occur.

Prerequisites: GEOL 2010 or instructor permission.
